Back to Kerosene Lantern History

There are so many of these Stonebridge Folding Lanterns in excellent condition, it is difficult to believe they are older than the 1960s. The original candle has picked up some dirt and the brass is slightly tarnished. Otherwise these lanterns appear new. Does anyone know the origin of these lanterns?
